Salute was a great place to hang out for awhile as we waited to catch our connecting flight. I had divorced eggs, and the salsa was delicious and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The waitress handed us menus printed in English, which was helpful. I'd definitely come back.

Food is bad. Service is slow. I guess they know they aren't too many options inside the airport.

This place should be avoided by all cost.   We spend 446 pesos for two breakfast plates with one water bottle and one orange juice.  That's $25 not including tip.
The breakfast portion was tiny with few small undercooked/cold/bland "French" potatoes and some eggs with salsa on top plus one slice of bacon cut into two pieces.  I asked for just eggs and potatoes and they still charged me for a full breakfast.  The tomato slices that came with my meal were the worst with one looking anemic and the other being the butt.  My pan dulce tasted like those buns in a plastic wrap.  To top it all off we ordered juevos rancheros and they brought juevos revueltos and just shrugged when I pointed out the mistake. This place is a total rip off and a bad representation of what dining in Mexico had to offer (even considering that it's an airport).

BLECCCCCHHHHHH. Pork tacos were horribly strange. The meat tasted Spam-ish, but Spam actually tastes much better when it's cooked. The blue corn tortilla was interesting, but not very tasty. What the heck?!?! I wasn't expecting much from a restaurant in an airport, but that was just freakin' gross. My superhero princess had to spit it out. "I don't like it," she said making a face. Okay, we're spoiled living in San Jose, California - the CAPITAL of authentic Mexican food. But, we should at least get something decent in Mexico, of all the places!!! Such a bummer. Sigh....

The quesadilla was barely edible, but I ate most of it because I was starving, and eating a few bags of nuts on the plane was not enough for my belly. I was excited to see fish quesadilla on the menu, but it was not good. At least it wasn't too crappy like the pork in the tacos, plus it didn't have  a strange after taste. The guac was the best thing out of the whole meal, but my little girl ate most of it.

My sangria was pretty but tasted like sugar water. Where's the alcohol? Another bummer. Service was not exceptional. It took awhile for our food and drinks to be served. It was a huge disappointment for our first Mexican meal in Mexico.

Great place to catch the games on big screen TVs. The waiters are accommodating and are very attentive to your needs. Uriel was a good example of this excellent service.
The food prices are amongst the lowest for a sit down restaurant. Grab a small-medium sized meal which is good for traveling on airplane.
